Chuck Schumer

Friend,

The latest news about Secretary Pete Hegseth’s boat strikes off the coast of Venezuela is staggering.

It’s been reported that the Secretary of Defense may have verbally ordered forces to “kill everybody” on these boats. Now, he’s shifting his story, hiding the evidence, and claiming he "did not personally see survivors" when he authorized a second lethal strike.

Now he refuses to release the full, unedited tapes of both strikes. If he did nothing wrong, why hide the truth? What doesn’t he want the American people to see?

Add your name to join me in demanding that Secretary Hegseth release the tapes and testify before Congress.

SIGN THE PETITION

For months, Hegseth bragged on Fox News that he watched the September 2nd attacks “live.” He said he was there for every moment. But when questions arose about whether those orders broke the law, he suddenly claimed an Admiral made the decisions instead.

This is part of a familiar pattern in the Trump administration: when the facts are inconvenient, they cover them up. The public deserves better.

We’re calling for two simple steps: Pete Hegseth must release the full, unedited tapes and testify before Congress.

Congress cannot investigate in the dark, and the American people and every person serving in our military have a right to know the truth.

Add your name to demand Secretary Hegseth testify under oath and release the full, unedited video.

SIGN THE PETITION

Sincerely,

Chuck Schumer
