The 2026 Washington Legislative Session kicks off on January 12, 2026. WCA is part of the Environmental Priorities Coalition, which brings together more than 25 statewide organizations to advocate for strong environmental policies in the state Legislature.

Next year, the state budget will remain a focus to ensure state dollars for climate and toxic pollution reduction are not swept away. Other major issues include funding to protect communities from the threat of wildfires and to confront the impacts of data centers.

Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement of our 2026 legislative priorities. In the meantime, sign up to become a [[link removed]] legislative advocate! [[link removed]]
