First, Trump spent months going after Ilhan with racist conspiracies, leading to ongoing harassment and constant threats to Ilhan’s life and requiring us to hire our own security.

Then, Trump’s rhetoric over the last weeks has put a target on the backs of innocent Somali-American families here in Minneapolis who already face so much hate from the far-right.

Now, Trump is calling Ilhan "garbage" and adding that immigrants like her are "garbage" too. It’s disgusting and dangerous.
