God doesn’t give you anything you can’t handle. I truly believe this. I knew when I started this campaign that it’d be an up-hill battle, and I’m in this to win this!

The future of Texas is one with a level playing field that benefits all of us, not just the priorities of the top 1%. Together we can achieve real healthcare reforms to make healthcare affordable and accessible for everyone. As a former teacher, I know first-hand that we must allocate more resources to our school systems and to pay teacher salaries. We should not be paying more per day on an inmate than on educating our students. That’s just the starting point of why I’m running and what I’ll work on to improve the lives of our families here in Texas.

We’re a true, blue grassroots campaign – I’m not taking money from corporate PACs, DC lobbyists, or big business. I am beholden to the people of Texas. I’m not a candidate who is going to tell you “the sky is falling” and use scare tactics to get you to donate to our campaign. I’m humbly asking for your help.

It’s time for a real level playing field, let’s make this happen together.
