Governor Hobbs isn’t alone. Attorney General Mayes has threatened to sue State Superintendent Tom Horne over these ESAs.
Arizona Democrats are sounding the alarm, and we need to listen.
But if they lose their re-election in 2026, none of this matters. If Republicans take control, they will continue to let ESAs spiral out of control, advancing their ultimate goal: dismantling the public school system.
