Hello John,
Recently at CVA, we reached a milestone, and as executive director, I would
like to extend my gratitude to those who made it possible.
Thanks to you and other members of our grassroots army, we’ve made 1 million
calls urging Congress to pass the Veterans’ ACCESS Act.

That’s a million reminders that veterans earned the right to timely,
high-quality care — whether at a VA facility or with a trusted provider of
their choosing.
But the hard truth is that Congress still needs to send this bill to the
president’s desk.
Every day they fail to act, more veterans are stuck navigating potentially
life-threatening delays, long distances to care, and a chronic lack of choice.

No American should have to fight for basic choice in the medical system, much
less someone who sacrificed for our country.
The Veterans’ ACCESS Act would honor our heroes’ sacrifices by:
* Making permanent the community care access standards veterans rely on
* Requiring VA to explain choice eligibility and denial decisions clearly
* Expanding access to mental health, telehealth, and non-VA clinics
* Enforcing the wait time parameters established by the MISSION Act
It’s not just you, though. Americans are united around this issue. In fact,
over 7 in 10 support the standards required by the Veterans’ ACCESS Act.
Once again, I would like to thank our volunteers. Without them, none of this
would have been possible.
