Notice of Public Meeting, Town of Kaycee, WY, Lead Service Line Investigation Project, Tank Rehabilitation Project, and Meter Replacement Project

The Town of Kaycee, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 7:00 pm, local time, on December
23rd, 2025, in the Kaycee Town Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting is to allow
citizens to review and comment on the following projects: Town of Kaycee – Lead Service Line
Investigation Project, Tank Rehabilitation Project, and Meter Replacement Project.

At the meeting, the Town of Kaycee will present the scope of the two projects and discuss the
estimated costs for each. Project cost estimates and the funding plan can also be reviewed at
Kaycee Town Hall. Contact Kris LeDoux at (307)738-2301.

Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Kaycee plans to borrow $794,077 for the lead service
line project, $710,000 for the tank rehabilitation project and meter replacement project from the
Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund, which the Wyoming Office of State Lands and
Investments administers. Town of Kaycee Capital Improvement Funds will repay the loan; there is no
expected change to user rates. It is anticipated that there will be between 50% to 75% principal
forgiveness for the different loans. Loan terms will be 0.0% interest rate and 30 years for the
lead service line project and 2.5% interest rate for 20 years for the standard drinking water loans
for the tank rehabilitation and meter replacement project.
