Friends, it’s outrageous that Trump would try to sabotage the Affordable Care Act during a pandemic (and I can’t believe I’m actually writing these words).
That’s why I’m proud to announce that the House just passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act, a strong legislative package that will expand coverage, lower prescription drug costs, and strengthen protections for pre-existing conditions.
Trump is playing politics with our health -- but I will always fight to keep our communities safe. Will you sign on to call on the Senate to pass the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act and demonstrate that we the people will fight for our health care?
Working families don’t have time for political games. They have bills to pay.
I’m dedicated to keeping those bills as low and transparent as possible. No one should have to choose between paying for health care and keeping the lights on -- and this legislation would lessen the burden for millions of people.
