Dear AFC family,

Perhaps yours is among the millions of diaries all over the world that have been started in part because Anne showed the way. Beginning with her first entry in her diary she showed how the power of pen to paper could help console her. Decades after she’s gone, she’s still such a power of guiding influence, still assuring us that we have a friend and that "paper is more patient than people."
We are honored to be partnering with Context Travel ([link removed]) as our Ambassador Gillian Walnes Perry ([link removed]) dutifully explores countless aspects of Anne's life history and her enduring legacy. Through their generosity, 35 percent of all proceeds from these events will be donated to the Anne Frank Center by Context Travel.
The co-founder and executive director of the Anne Frank Trust UK ([link removed]) , Gillian worked alongside family and friends of Anne's father, Otto Frank, to establish the Trust in 1990. Since retiring in 2016, Gillian now lectures on the life and legacy of Anne Frank, as well as other social history topics. She serves an ambassador to the Anne Frank Center USA ([link removed]) and has spoken at the United Nations in New York, 10 Downing Street, and the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock Arkansas. Her first book, The Legacy of Anne Frank, ([link removed]) was published in 2018. In 2010 Gillian was awarded an MBE (Membership of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) by Her Majesty The Queen for her work in education.

We are honored to deepen our partnerships with both Context Travel and Gillian and hope you and your friends will join us for these engaging online workshops.
