Hi there,
The price increases under the Trump administration are hitting families across South and Central Jersey hard. Everyone has seen costs go up, and many are struggling to just get by.
So it’s incredibly shameful that yesterday, Trump said that affordability is a “con job” that “doesn’t mean anything to anybody”.
The president is all too familiar with con jobs. He of all people should know this isn’t one of them.
Affordability means whether you can pay for groceries without cutting your medications. It means whether seniors can heat their homes this winter. It means whether parents can afford childcare so they can keep working.
To dismiss that struggle as a “false narrative” is out of touch and cruel.
I won’t let anyone tell my constituents that their struggles aren’t real. I’ll keep working to lower costs for New Jersey families and make life more affordable for everyone as long as I’m in Congress. But I need your help to stay there.
