Kim is running for reelection to the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s office. A city that has continued to see a racial and economic divide. Just a few weeks ago, a wealthy white couple, notorious for using the legal system to do their bidding, brandished guns at Black Lives Matter protesters.
Kim’s office is now investigating the couple while Governor Parson and Trump himself are attempting to derail her investigation.

Kim has seen her fair share of racist antagonism. Earlier this year she was forced to sue her own city and its police union after uncovering a racist conspiracy to get her out of office.
As current Circuit Attorney, Kim has reduced the average daily St. Louis jail population by 39 percent! And, she has cut prison incarceration in half!
Kim prioritized increased police accountability by prosecuting officers who break the law and refusing to rely on the testimony of officers accused of misconduct.
