Help bring down energy costs.
<[link removed]>

Hello John,

This past weekend, I took a break from tailgating to share about a new bill
that would unleash American energy abundance.

If passed, the Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2025 would
streamline the process for producing, importing, and exporting liquid natural
gas, thereby expanding America’s access to global energy markets.

Here’s the problem as it stands: Currently, liquid natural gas projects need
approval from both the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Department
of Energy.

Two different agencies mean twice the bureaucracy, leading to delays that drag
on for months or even years.American families shouldn’t have to pay the price
for Washington’s dysfunction.

It’s like having to go to the DMV and then city hall to register the same car —
each with different forms, different rules, and different wait times.
Meanwhile, your car sits in the driveway because two agencies can’t get on the
same page.

Here’s what the bill fixes: The DOE would have exclusive jurisdiction over
approving or denying applications for the siting, construction, operation, or
expansion of a facility to export or import natural gas. Cutting red tape
speeds up development and helps lower energy prices by increasing supply.

* ✅ Lower energy costs & reliable power: Liquefied natural gas is a stable
fuel source that keeps the grid running — even when wind and solar can’t. That
means fewer blackouts and protection from costly disruptions.
* ✅ Energy security & economic stability: Boosting domestic production
reduces reliance on foreign energy and shields families from global price
spikes, like those caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
* ✅ Global leadership = stronger economy: More LNG exports mean more American
jobs and stronger local economies — while helping our allies reduce dependence
on hostile nations.

🖊️ Then, take 1 minute to send a letter to your lawmakers

to tell them to support energy permitting reform.
