I’m grateful to report that with your continued support in November, we met our online fundraising goal.
As this year in Congress draws to a close, I want to share a few of the issues weighing most heavily on me right now:
- Prices are continuing to climb and thousands of families in CA-27 are struggling to make ends meet. Trump’s volatile tariffs are driving costs higher, and this Administration is doing nothing to curb food costs and inflation.
- There are just 30 days until health insurance premiums are set to rise -- doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling for families across our community and nationwide. This is a direct consequence of the GOP shutdown and their inability to work with us to protect affordable healthcare options.
- Trump is calling for violence against Senator Mark Kelly and other Democrats for speaking out about the military’s ability to turn down illegal orders. Now, his Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is illegally striking boats in international waters.
I’m doing everything I can to stand up to these abuses of power -- through oversight, legislation, and every tool available to me in Congress -- and I’m deeply grateful to have you with me as we prepare for what’s ahead.
