Testing is critical to preventing the spread of COVID-19. Long Beach continues to offer free testing for residents during this time, and asks everyone do their part to keep themselves, their families, the community and especially our healthcare workers safe.



We have now increased capacity from 1,000 tests a day to 1,400 tests a day —the most robust testing capacity ever for the City and nearly double the State’s requirement.



The following City-operated testing sites are available:



- Long Beach City College Pacific Coast Campus (1305 E. Pacific Coast Hwy.), 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays.

- Long Beach City College Veterans Memorial Stadium (5000 E. Lew Davis St.), 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

- Cabrillo High School (2001 Santa Fe Ave.), 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m to 5 p.m. on weekends.



The hours at the following testing site remain unchanged:



- Jordan Plus High School (171 W. Bort St.), which provides testing for symptomatic individuals and essential workers, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., on weekdays. Non-vehicle-based testing is available at Jordan Plus.



The Rapid Assessment Clinic at Long Beach City College, Pacific Coast Campus, will continue providing day of walk-up testing for symptomatic patients, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays.



Mobile testing also continues to be available for individuals who are not able to leave their residence for various reasons, such as mobility issues or underlying health conditions. Mobile testing can be done at residences or facilities such as sober living homes, skilled nursing facilities and other congregate facilities. Mobile testing is available Monday through Friday.

The City remains committed to making testing available to all Long Beach residents. To date, Long Beach has conducted more than 103,000 COVID-19 tests through City-run sites, a State-run site and private labs. In addition to these public testing options, individuals can receive COVID-19 testing through their healthcare provider.
