Hey John, it’s Frank Mrvan. I’m sorry to reach out again but we’re in a pivotal moment right now and I need your help. The fight for Northwest Indiana’s future is entering its most critical phase yet, and our team is giving it everything we have. Across the country, Republicans are redrawing congressional maps to cling to power and silence voters. They know the same thing we do: they are on track to lose the House majority. 

Costs keep rising, health care is being cut, and families are losing access to food assistance programs. And instead of earning back the trust of the American people, Republicans are trying to rig the system before voters can hold them accountable.

And now, this battle has arrived at our doorstep.

The Indiana GOP is in a Special Legislative Session to redraw our congressional maps before the 2026 midterms. Their proposed gerrymandered map would drastically alter my district and attempt to make IN-01 an R+12 seat.

Since being elected in 2020, I’ve been honored to serve Northwest Indiana — fighting for working families, supporting small businesses, strengthening our farms, and making sure our community receives the federal investment it deserves. This is my home, and I’m proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with organized labor, our veterans, teachers, farmers, and steelworkers — the people who make this region strong.

But, Indiana Republicans – under pressure from Donald Trump – are trying to erase that progress with new gerrymandered maps that would change our district and attempt to eliminate my seat in Congress.

Despite their efforts, I will continue to fight for fairness, working with Republicans and Democrats alike to defend the voices of working families. Representation should be earned through ideas and service, not political manipulation.

I’m not backing down, and I’m going to fight like hell to protect what we’ve built — and with your support, we will stand up to this blatant power grab and make sure every voice in Northwest Indiana is heard.  

I’ll be honest, I don’t know what’s going to happen over this next week while the General Assembly considers Trump’s gerrymandered map. But when we stand together and make our voices heard, we can change the course of this fight. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
