Congress must rein in Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump before it’s too late.

The most unqualified Secretary of Defense in modern history and a wannabe tinpot dictator are leading a campaign of illegal, unconstitutional, and unjustified military strikes — all without the authorization of Congress.

With each passing day, their irresponsible leadership puts our troops’ lives at even greater risk.

These boat strikes are not about being “tough on drugs.” If they were focused on that, Trump wouldn’t have just pardoned a man convicted of helping traffic 400 tons of cocaine into our country.

What the strikes are doing is dragging us closer to another forever war with no regard for our troops, international law, or our national security. Hegseth and Trump’s incompetence is making our world less safe and putting servicemembers at risk.

These strikes are dangerous, illegal, and counterproductive. And they must stop.

Pete Hegseth is a spineless sycophant who will do whatever Trump wants, so we have to pressure Republicans in Congress to take action to stop them. I won’t let them forget that these illegal strikes endanger our troops and global standing, but I can’t do it alone.
