Dear Actors Fund Community,
We hope you are safe and well during these increasingly difficult times.
To expand upon our work that supports the unique needs of our performing arts and entertainment community, The Actors Fund has created two groups to provide Black-identified and non-Black POC entertainment professionals a space to affirm experiences and discuss the impact of racial injustice within the entertainment industry and community as a whole. These groups will help participants process disproportionate ways Covid-19 has affected non-white communities, and provide support and resources for each other while fostering restorative dialog and compassion.
These two groups will meet virtually every other week for eight weeks, on Thursdays from 3-4:30 pm ET. A preliminary interview is required. Participants must be New York State residents and must be able to attend all eight sessions.
The Healing with The Actors Fund Group for Black-Identified Entertainment Professionals begins July 23. Learn more and request an interview. ([link removed][UNIQID])
The Healing with The Actors Fund Group for Non-Black POC Entertainment Professionals begins July 30. Learn more and request an interview. ([link removed][UNIQID])
Wishing you health and wellness,
The Actors Fund
