This Administration promised to lower costs, yet prices on everything from groceries to health care are rising. So much so, that Texans have paid an additional $339 this year due to Republicans’ reckless policies. 

I want to hear from you: Have you been dealing with higher costs than usual?

I am fighting to make life more affordable and reverse Republican policies that are forcing families to choose between keeping the lights on or putting food on the table. The cost of producing tamales, a traditional holiday staple for many, has risen significantly, leaving both small business and their customers to shoulder the burden. All while Affordable Care Act Tax Credits are set to expire at the end of the month, leaving nearly 130,000 South Texans, including seniors, veterans and children with another hefty monthly bill or without health insurance. South Texas deserves better!
