Israeli forces are killing two children a day in Gaza since the ceasefire
started.
And Microsoft is continuing to directly fuel this horror.
The company's AGM is in 48 hours and our community has co-filed a
shareholder resolution about Microsoft's failure to detect that it's tech
is being used to harm Palestinians. Let's ramp up huge pressure ahead of
the meeting and show executives the whole world is watching what happens
on Friday.

John,
We were told there’s a ceasefire, but the slaughter hasn’t stopped.
Near-daily attacks on Gaza have killed at least 347 Palestinians, and two
children are being killed every day since the ceasefire started.
And tech giant Microsoft is directly fueling Israel’s genocide by
providing the Israeli military with technology and infrastructure to
surveil and target Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.
Microsoft’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is on Friday, and several Ekō
members have co-filed a shareholder resolution about Microsoft’s failure
to detect that its technology is being used to harm Palestinians.
More than ever we must ramp up pressure on Microsoft to cut all ties with
the Israeli military and show the company that the whole world is watching
what happens on Friday.

After it was exposed in the media how Microsoft is fueling the genocide,
our community built a huge outcry – mobilizing over 100,000 people,
running hard-hitting advertisements, and co-filing a high-profile
shareholder resolution calling for a review of its due diligence processes
after it failed to detect and prevent its technology from being used to
surveil and target Palestinians.
And this morning we submitted a GDPR complaint to the Irish Data
Protection Commission about Microsoft’s unlawful processing of highly
sensitive personal data from Palestinians – including data potentially
connected to targeting operations in Gaza in ways that violate core
principles of Europe’s data protection law.
After the damning media report exposing Microsoft's role in mass
surveillance, Microsoft divested from Unit 8200, the Israeli military unit
that was in charge of the surveillance program. But divesting from one
unit alone isn't enough -- Microsoft still provides the Israeli military
with bespoke technology through its cloud computing platform Microsoft
Azure.
There’s already significant media attention on the AGM. If we show that
tens of thousands of people everywhere are urging Microsoft to end its
support for the Israeli military, we can raise the stakes ahead of the
meeting.

Our community has been working on this campaign for months now. From
signing the petition, to donating, co-filing the resolution, to sharing on
social media and leaving LinkedIn comments on execs’ pages – we are not
giving up until Microsoft ends its support for genocide.
