Bodor and her family were forced to flee their home as missiles drew closer and closer. They left scared, and without any money or water. After walking for two hours and getting in a car, they arrived at a camp in Damt. Terrifyingly, war found them again, and they ended up in a camp in Aden.

Bodor was in a displacement camp when she gave birth to her youngest daughter. An IRC midwife rushed to help her, ensuring she and her baby were healthy and safe — which inspired Bodor to name her daughter Engath, or "Rescuer" after the International Rescue Committee.
 
 
 
Bodor and her husband now have three daughters under the age of five and she is afraid they will get sick or be in harm's way. COVID-19 is spreading rapidly in Yemen, airstrikes are continuing, and food is hard to come by.
