Hello,

We never thought we’d see the day.

A grayscale photo of Donald Trump shows the president wearing a mask that bears a presidential seal as he gestures widely with his hands and looks off-camera.

Donald Trump has decided to wear a mask.

The small act of common decency marks a rare about-face for a president who has, up to this point, refused to wear a mask publicly -- and has even suggested they show weakness.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has lauded the president for his decision, saying Trump has “crossed a bridge,” and adding that “hopefully by his example, he will change his attitude.”

Anything’s possible. Though in the days that have followed his photo-op, Trump has already repeated his lie that testing is responsible for increased cases -- and, instead of listening to Dr. Fauci, decided to retweet a former game show host’s claim that “The CDC, Media, Democrats, [and] our Doctors” are lying about the pandemic. His new wardrobe choices notwithstanding, do you think the president should get credit for an attitude adjustment? Tell us:

Do you approve of Donald Trump?
