measure that would have effectively outlawed abortion in the state — only
to be temporarily stopped by the courts moments after. Hours later, a
District Court ruled Georgia’s abortion ban (HB 481) unconstitutional.

Then: Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Lee immediately pledged to defend
their anti-choice laws in court, making it clearer than ever that there’s
no low anti-choice extremists won’t sink to in order to advance their
agenda of control — even if that means prioritizing their attacks on our
freedom in the middle of the global pandemic.^1,2
