Friend,
A bombshell investigation has dropped… and it confirms what many of us have known for years:
Minnesota is drowning in fraud. Worse, federal investigators now say millions in stolen taxpayer dollars were funneled overseas with some ultimately reaching the terror group Al-Shabaab.
That’s right: money intended to feed hungry children and support vulnerable Minnesotans instead helped fund a known terror group.
Meanwhile, under Governor Tim Walz, welfare fraud has exploded into billions of stolen dollars. Scandal after scandal, Feeding Our Future, Housing Stabilization Services, and autism services were all ignored, minimized, or brushed aside while a culture of fraud took root.
Enough is enough.
That’s why I introduced the Fraud Accountability and Recovery (FAR) Act — legislation to shut the door on criminals who steal American tax dollars and then hide overseas.
My bill does something Washington should have done years ago:
- Cuts off foreign aid to any country harboring someone convicted of defrauding the United States.
- Blocks U.S. assistance if they refuse to help recover stolen taxpayer money.
- Holds fraudsters accountable, no matter where they run or where they hide their assets.
If you steal from American taxpayers, you will face consequences. Period.
But here’s the truth: passing bold reforms like this takes political strength, and Democrats in Minnesota and Washington would love nothing more than to bury this story and block accountability.
I need your help to keep up the pressure.
Can you chip in $25, $50, or even $100 today to support our fight against fraud and protect Minnesota taxpayers?
