Today is Giving Tuesday. We don't know who came up with this day, or how it caught on, but it seems like the main thing it inspires is frustration. You're probably sick of everyone asking you to donate to them. But believe us, the people asking you are even more sick of it!

The thing is, it doesn't really matter when you donate to AGREE. Giving Tuesday is just a convenient hook. It's just that we are so busy organizing all kinds of important action alerts, rallies, press conferences, reports, testimonies, webinars, lobby days, energy efficiency consultations and more, it takes something like "Giving Tuesday" just to get us to take a second and ask for a little help.

So since that's happening today, we are asking you to donate not because of some arbitrary day, but to donate because you believe in AGREE's mission and work.

From more staff to new organizing programs, we're building the power to pass clean energy legislation, build new green energy projects, and connect New Yorkers to the latest cost-saving clean energy appliances and energy efficiency upgrades for their homes. But we can't do it without your help.

So whatever day it is (maybe you're even reading it on a day that is *not* Giving Tuesday!*), please help us build the Green Economy New Yorkers deserve. After all, who else will?
