On #Giving Tuesday, Your Solidarity Fuels Immigrant Justice |
Dear John, Today, on Giving Tuesday, we invite you to stand with immigrant and refugee communities at a moment when human rights are under threat. Your solidarity helps strengthen the grassroots power needed to confront these injustices. This past year has brought harmful policies, increased border militarization, and attacks on due process. Yet we’ve also seen rising community resistance and bold organizing. Your Giving Tuesday gift helps NNIRR continue challenging rights-violating policies, uplifting grassroots leadership, and advancing a vision of justice rooted in dignity and collective liberation. |
This Giving Tuesday, we’re especially proud to uplift the future leaders of human rights advancing their work here at NNIRR. With our Internship program we are shaping the next generation of immigrant justice leaders through advocacy, research, and community engagement. |
Our research interns are producing deeply informed analyses on the “Big Beautiful Bill”, strengthening our policy and justice work. At the same time our communications intern is expanding NNIRR’s digital advocacy, helping us reach more communities and mobilize action. Your support makes this leadership possible. |

 | Interning with NNIRR has been a formative experience for me. This internship has clarified that I want to become a human rights defender dedicated to migrant issues. Creating and researching for the Network’s posts, taught me to be intentional with my work to capture these issues critically and accurately. I am a stronger advocate and proud to help drive NNIRR's mission. --- Jada Luxene, Communications Intern |

 | Through my internship at NNIRR, I have significantly deepened my understanding of how the U.S. immigration system systemically violates immigrant and refugee human rights. Additionally, I had the opportunity to research and analyze current immigration and border policy laws to evaluate their impact on immigrant and refugee populations. --- Priya Voetsch, Research Intern |

 | My experience thus far has been nothing short of amazing. Conducting in-depth analyses of the Big Beautiful Bill and learning from renowned migrant rights practitioners has cemented my desire to work in public policy spaces going forward, and I hope to carry with me the human-centered mission of NNIRR wherever I go. --- Bryant Li, Research Intern |
