I am writing this to you because I am genuinely disgusted by former South Dakota Governor and current DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s behavior.

She just posted this:

I don’t even know what this means. But to me, it’s nothing more than raw, inflammatory, divisive speech.

I swore an oath to defend the Constitution and the values of this republic. That oath demands professionalism, integrity, and honor. Noem’s behavior is a disgrace to her office and an embarrassment to South Dakota.

Does Mike Rounds support Noem’s comments? It would be great to know where he stands on this. Don’t hold your breath for a Rounds comment. He follows the party line. But I can tell you I will never use that kind of language or demonize other Americans. I will never sacrifice the integrity of the office.
