Dear John,

Last week, at our 32nd Annual Breakfast, Giana stood on stage and bravely shared her story. Her words reminded all of us why our work matters — and why we must continue to work together to support families still searching for safety, stability, and a place to call home.

Here is what Giana shared from the podium:

“It was just a few years ago that I didn’t know where I was going to sleep, or how I would get through the next day. But because of the support, programs, and people at Families in Transition, we found a safe place to live and the guidance I needed to keep moving forward.

Today, I am a student at SNHU studying psychology, and I am working toward a future I once thought was impossible. I share my story because I want everyone here to know that the support of a community can truly change a life.

There is no place like home, and because of Families in Transition, my mom and I found ours. Thank you.”

Stories like Giana’s remind us what home truly means — stability, dignity, and the chance to build a brighter future. Thank you for helping making these kinds of transformational stories possible.

Right now, more and more community members are turning to Families in Transition in search of the same hope. Please know that your gift today will help another family find their way home.
