Kelliann Ashley has had aspirations of working in healthcare since the moving experience of caring for her mother and grandparents while they were ill. She was already enrolled in school to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN) when UNCF visited her university to offer opportunities for scholarships, mentorships and other support.

It’s because of that support and mentorship that Kelliann has been able to earn her degree and is well on her way to becoming a passionate, skilled LPN and building a bright future.
