Kelliann Ashley has had aspirations of working in healthcare since the moving experience of caring for her mother and grandparents while they were ill. She was already enrolled in school to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN) when UNCF visited her university to offer opportunities for scholarships, mentorships and other support.
