Trump just can’t stop attacking Ilhan.

We explained to you how these racist attacks from Trump led to ongoing harassment and constant threats to Ilhan’s life, requiring us to hire our own security.

We told you how Trump’s rhetoric is putting a target on the backs of innocent Somali-American families in Minnesota and across the country who already face hate from the far-right.

Now Trump is calling Ilhan “garbage” and adding that immigrants like her are “garbage” too. It’s disgusting and dangerous.

And more so, it’s a distraction from the fact that Trump’s first year in office has been a disaster. The cost of living continues to rise, millions are losing their healthcare, and ICE has waged a terror campaign in our cities. The American people are waking up to Trump’s incompetence, and he is desperate to create a distraction.
