John, we’re now halfway through Giving Tuesday, but we still haven’t hit our fundraising goal!

If you missed our email earlier, all gifts are now matched, up to our $50,000 fundraising goal — meaning that your donation today will have 2X the impact in protecting wild salmon watersheds. ([link removed]) We’re counting on supporters like you to help us make this the biggest Giving Tuesday yet, which would pave the way for our work protecting and restoring wild salmon watersheds.

However, I was just reviewing our Giving Tuesday fundraising records, and I haven’t seen your name yet. Can you take a moment to review the information below? If it's still accurate, I'm hoping you'll join other Wild Salmon Center supporters in making a gift today and taking this rare opportunity to have your gift matched.

This year has brought numerous challenges to our conservation work:

Millions of acres of American public lands were nearly sold off in June, but thanks in part to strong advocacy from key Wild Salmon Center board members and partners in our conservation network, the sale was thankfully defeated.

Key federal agencies that we depend on to manage salmon fisheries and restore critical habitats have had their budgets cut, but we are continuing to work with our partners to fund scientific research driving America’s fisheries, and advocating in Congress to ensure funding for core salmon programs.

We are determined to continue our important work regardless of the challenges we face. And this is made possible thanks to our incredible network of supporters — and that includes you, John.

Please, if you haven’t had a chance already, make a Giving Tuesday gift now before our midnight deadline. Your donation will be immediately matched to have double the impact in protecting our extraordinary wild salmon and their home rivers today and for generations to come. ([link removed])
