** Ensuring BLM lands are part of America's conservation future

America is in the midst of a nature crisis. In the West, we are losing a football field's worth of natural area every 30 seconds. Habitat loss and climate change are driving plants and animals to towards the brink of extinction. That's why scientists are calling for a bold goal of protecting 30 percent ([link removed]) of America's lands and waters by 2030—a goal that can save nature, strengthen local economies, and improve public health.

Next Thursday, July 23, join the Center for Western Priorities, the Conservation Lands Foundation, and Senator Tom Udall for a virtual discussion on how we can achieve this critical goal and how grassroots efforts in Nevada are working to ensure Bureau of Land Management lands are part of the solution.
