Harris for Congress Friend, please take two minutes to read my story
Friend,
As a pastor, a father, a husband, and an American Patriot, I'd love to borrow
two minutes of your time to formally introduce myself. This is a longer
message, but I would greatly appreciate it if you would donate $5 or more at
the end.

WHO AM I?
<[link removed]>
My name is Mark Harris. I'm a pastor, a father, a husband, and a God-fearing,
America-loving Patriot. I'm not a typical politician with career aspirations in
Washington or a military background (though I support our troops 100%!). I'm a
regular guy who believes our government needs to start listening to the People,
not the other way around.
It all started in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where I was born and raised
as the youngest of five siblings. I learned early that hard work and dedication
were key to getting ahead. My parents instilled values of patriotism and
community involvement, leading by example.
My journey has been marked by purpose and calling. I attended App State and
graduated with a degree in Political Science. But my path took a divine turn
when I felt called to serve God. Listening to His will was the best decision of
my life. I earned my Master's of Divinity and Doctor's of Ministry in Christian
Leadership, marrying my college sweetheart, Beth, in 1987.
God's plan unfolded beautifully. Beth and I have three children (Laura, John,
and Matthew) and 10 grandchildren (with number 11 coming later this year!).
They are my greatest blessings and the reason I embrace His plan daily.
My dad, Everette Harris, is my hero. Orphaned young, he joined the military
after high school, becoming a tail gunner in World War II. On his ninth
mission, his plane was shot down; he parachuted to safety but was captured by
German forces. He spent the war's final months in a Nazi prison camp. Hitler
ordered the murder of captives there, but mercifully, the guards didn't comply.
Returning home, Dad started college on the GI Bill but dropped out after
marrying Mom. He worked in manufacturing, building a good life for their five
children. He overcame adversity, fought for his country, and gave us the
American Dream.
WHY I ENTERED POLITICS
<[link removed]>
For over 30 years, I've served as a Baptist pastor, evangelizing the lost and
shepherding God's people. After a lifetime of community service, I ran for
Congress, winning last November.
When I first ran over a decade ago, Dad advised, "Be careful." I told him,
just as he volunteered his life for our country, I felt called to political
battle. I believe we need leaders with three key traits: Character,
Consistency, and Courage.
Sadly, Dad didn't live to see me sworn in, but those words guide me. To save
America, we need trustworthy leaders (Character), who keep their promises
(Consistency), and stand firm when it's hard (Courage).
On January 3rd, standing on the House floor, taking the oath, I pledged to be
that leader.
Now, with President Trump in the White House, Republican control of the
Senate, and a narrow House majority, we have a trifecta to change our country's
course. It won't be easy since the media and Democrats will continue to attack
our America-First agenda.
But 77 million Americans gave us this mandate. They want secure borders, the
rule of law restored, and safer communities. They demand economic revival by
rolling back Biden regulations, unleashing energy, and extending Trump tax
cuts. They oppose bureaucrats controlling lives or indoctrinating kids, and
piling debt on future generations. If we unite with courage and keep campaign
promises, we can restore America's greatness.
I'm positioned to help: Appointed to the House Judiciary, Education and
Workforce, and Agriculture Committees. On Judiciary, we'll reform immigration
and protect rights from woke agencies. On Education and Workforce, we'll
overhaul the failing Department of Education. On Agriculture, we'll curb
welfare spending and support North Carolina farmers.
WHY I NEED HELP
<[link removed]>
The devil prowls, seeking ruin. Here, he's targeting a God-fearing Christian
in Congress. Opponents see me as vulnerable since I'm a freshman member of
Congress. They think defeating me will be easy, especially after Democrats'
recent wins in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City. If we don't defend
vulnerable seats, they'll flip the House.
God's plan for me is service, but His children must act. I avoided a primary
runoff by under 150 votes last year, so I can't take this for granted.I need to
raise over $1,000 daily from folks like you to fend off challenges.
Will you donate $5, $25, $50, $100, or more before midnight to my
America-First campaign? Your support lets me continue serving and protecting
our majority.

Every year, Beth and I gather our grandchildren to discuss heritage. They
know about Great-Grandpa Everette. For years, a photo hung in our home: His
plane, the Eight Ball, post-crash. Miraculously, negatives survived in a
farmhouse; another family shared it.
Now, it hangs in my congressional office. It serves as a daily reminder to
fight for our country. Dad's generation risked everything; I won't shy from any
political fight to make America great for my kids and grandkids. It's the right
thing. It's what my hero raised me to do.
Thank you for reading. I can't wait to walk God's path together.
Sincerely,
Mark Harris
