Dear John,
Giving Tuesday represents a global moment of compassion and generosity. It’s a day that feels particularly meaningful given the current state of the world. Now more than ever, we are relying on our community to help counter growing anti-rights movements and authoritarianism that threaten the wellbeing of all women and girls. Will you join us with a gift of $10 or more?

While the world may seem scary and its problems too large to conquer, you have power and can help create change. By funding Equality Now, you are helping power a global movement and network of gender experts, lawyers, and human rights defenders with over thirty years of experience in creating legal change. Since our inception in 1992, we’ve played a pivotal role in the reform of over 130 discriminatory laws worldwide, benefitting the lives of millions of women and girls today as well as future generations. We can do even more, but not without your support.
John, we know that times are tough and that the economy is creating stress. That’s why we would truly appreciate a gift of any amount: $5, $10, or more. Please consider donating your next cup of coffee to Equality Now and watch your impact explode.

One law can improve millions of lives:
- The Take It Down Act (USA), which makes it a federal crime to post sexually-explicit content, including AI-generated deepfakes, without the person’s consent, safeguarded 42 million lives.
- Child Marriage Bill (Colombia), which bans child marriage without exception, benefitted the 1.4 million lives at risk from the practice.
- The National Action Plan (Malawi), which helps protect women and girls from trafficking in all its forms, improved 10.5 million lives.

Imagine the impact you can make with one more legal change, one more gift of $10 or more. Please don’t let Giving Tuesday pass you by without supporting women and girls. We appreciate your support thus far and hope you take this opportunity to make an even greater difference.
In solidarity,
Amy Hutchinson
Global Director of Development
