Dear John,

I’d like to introduce myself, but I can’t tell you my name.

I’m one of the Environmental Investigation Agency’s (EIA) undercover investigators and I have to keep my identity secret.

I need to keep a low profile so I can gather information about how wildlife traffickers operate, and provide intelligence to the authorities.

Your generous support helps fund my work and the work of other EIA undercover investigators. It means a lot to know we have your backing.

Can you make a gift today to help us continue our vital undercover investigations and campaigns? ([link removed])

Sadly, in my work, I see a lot of dead endangered species. I hate to see these animals in places where they don’t belong: in a fridge, on a shelf or in a wine jar.

I’m motivated by the desire to keep wild animals alive in their natural habitat.

Like you, I want to see pangolins, elephants and rhinos free to live their lives in the places where they belong, not killed for profit.

Please donate if you can, to help us keep investigating the illegal wildlife trade and campaigning for change. ([link removed])

Thank you so much for any gift that you’re able to give us today. Together, we can help protect endangered wildlife and create the kind of world we want to see.

With kind regards.

An EIA undercover investigator
