We’ve said this race could be won by a hair — but I didn’t expect
Republicans to take that literally.
Do you remember back when Governor Chris Sununu (that’s right, my
opponent’s brother) took to the airwaves to attack me? Not for my values
or my record, but for… my haircut.
His exact words?
“He needs a blow dryer and a little bit of hair gel… it’ll make a world of
difference.”
That’s what the GOP is focused on. Not on protecting our rights and
communities. Not on lowering costs. My hair. If that’s the best they’ve
got, it speaks volumes.
This race is about New Hampshire. Not hair gel. But the attacks have
continued to come. And with corporate super PACs and national Republicans
lining up to try to buy this seat, it’s a safe bet they’ll say or do
anything if they think it will help them beat us.
