Dear friend,

Did you see EWG’s latest report on glyphosate in food? Here’s what you need to know:

•
Scientists have been raising alarms about glyphosate’s links to cancer for years.
•
EWG tests have recently revealed shockingly high levels of glyphosate in hummus. Previous tests revealed similar levels in oat-based cereals and snack bars.
•
Although some manufacturers have taken action to reduce levels of glyphosate in food, PepsiCo has done little to address the shocking levels of glyphosate found in their products.

PepsiCo owns Sabra Hummus, as well as Quaker Oats. EWG has found levels of glyphosate as high as 4.6 times more than what our scientists consider safe in these products.

It’s time for PepsiCo to do the right thing and get glyphosate out of our food! Will you join us in this fight, friend?

Glyphosate is the key ingredient in Roundup, the most widely used pesticide in the U.S. Glyphosate is commonly applied right before harvest, resulting in startlingly high levels of glyphosate in bean- and oat-based products like hummus and cereal.

In response to growing consumer outrage, a major oat buyer recently said it will no longer purchase oats treated with glyphosate preharvest. Kellogg’s has also announced plans to end the preharvest use of glyphosate. But PepsiCo has remained silent.

We know grassroots power can get the job done, and we need to show PepsiCo consumers are standing up for their health. Can you help us reach 100,000 signatures urging PepsiCo to get glyphosate out of their products?

ADD YOUR NAME: Tell PepsiCo to protect consumers and get cancer-linked glyphosate out of our food!

Thanks for standing with us, friend.
