Dear Herbert –

When we launched Stand with Parkland – The National Association of Families for Safe Schools, we set out to do something different. We decided to focus on families while looking for solutions and bringing people together to make real progress on school safety. We work with whoever will listen and push for positive changes to keep America’s students and staff safe at school.

Over seven years later, we’ve shown that our uniquely inclusive, non-partisan, and comprehensive approach works. We’re in the room and at the negotiating table, working with elected leaders from both sides of the aisle. We're having meaningful discussions focused on issues, answers, and families.

With your support, we can continue to be voices of positive change in the halls of power. We believe that the safety of our nation's students and teachers is not a political issue, and we will work with anyone who shares our goal of safe schools.

Today is Giving Tuesday, and we hope you'll join us in this movement with a donation to support our work in the months and years ahead.

Stand with Parkland’s uniquely inclusive, non-partisan, and comprehensive approach has allowed us to speak with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle as we encourage them to work together to make our nation’s schools safer for students and staff.

The progress we've made has been extraordinary.

We've worked with the Departments of Health and Human Services, Justice, Homeland Security, and Education to launch SchoolSafety.gov alongside White House leaders. We've met with members of Congress multiple times to urge action on school safety, and supported bipartisan bills including the Eagles Act, the TIPS Act, and LASSA. We've championed state and local legislation and testified before Congress.

And we're not done yet.

There is bipartisan energy to keep our mission going strong, but we’ll need your support to keep up our momentum. As we look toward 2026 and beyond, we'll need to be able to rise above the noise and draw focus where it belongs: On the safety of students and staff at school and our bipartisan school safety agenda.

With your help, we can continue to achieve results. Consider making a Giving Tuesday contribution to Stand with Parkland – The National Association of Families for Safe Schools, and we will come together as an American family to stand strong against violence in our schools.

We are grateful for your support today, and every day.
