I’m crunching the numbers today ahead of our August goal and while I don’t have the final tally just yet, one thing is clear: We’re behind.

With our August deadline this coming Saturday, I’m estimating that we’ll need at least 40 more grassroots donors to give if we’re going to close the gap and make our goal. Can Colin and I count on you to be one of them, John?

As you know, August was a big month for us. We now have multiple opponents in the Republican primary who are all watching our campaign closely, looking for signs of weakness.

I can’t tell you how harmful it would be for Colin’s re-election to come up short on his first goal after these challenger announcements.

Thankfully, we’ve got time and we’ve got YOU.
