Friends,
I want to share something personal today.
When our daughter Myla was diagnosed with autism, my wife and I were initially overwhelmed. Full of love but also full of questions. How do we make sure she gets the support she needs? How do we find the right care, the right community, and the right learning environment to help her succeed?
That’s when we found the Harwood Center.
The Harwood Center helped change our lives. The therapists, teachers, and specialists there gave Myla the resources she needed to blossom. As parents, they gave us the hope and knowledge to help our child grow into her full potential.
So today, on Giving Tuesday, I want to invite you to join me in giving back to Harwood.
They’re doing incredible work for families across Shelby County, and they depend on people like us to keep that work going. You can donate directly to the Harwood Center here.
As a father, that experience deepened my commitment to making sure every family in Shelby County can find the kind of support that we did: access to early childhood education, inclusive schools, affordable healthcare, and opportunities for every child to learn and thrive in their own way.
