Florida now leads the nation in home foreclosures, and Tampa is ground zero, JOHN.
Families are getting pushed out of their homes because insurance premiums have exploded, costs keep rising, and no one in Washington or Tallahassee is lifting a finger.
Working families should not have to decide whether to pay their mortgage, pay for health insurance, or buy groceries. Sign my petition demanding that our representatives in Washington and Tallahassee take action against this foreclosure crisis NOW!
This is what happens when leaders look the other way while banks, insurers, and developers cash in on working people. Rising seas, stronger storms, and skyrocketing risk aren’t coincidences; they’re realities our politicians consistently choose to ignore.
Florida’s Senators, Ashley Moody and Rick Scott, should be fighting like hell to end this crisis by freezing foreclosures, forcing banks to work with families, dragging insurance CEOs into hearings to explain themselves, and finally confronting the climate risks driving this crisis.
But they’re not. And that’s why I’m running to beat one.
If you are sick and tired of our representatives allowing insurance corporations and big banks to take advantage of us, sign my petition! It’s past time our representatives work for us and end this foreclosure crisis.
Losing your home isn’t your failure. It’s theirs. Florida deserves better.
