Giving Tuesday: What Our Leaders Said |
In November, we asked our leaders how they feel about organizing. We asked what material changes they’ve seen in their lives, how their lives have grown emotionally or spiritually, and what they’re most proud of. Their responses were filled with hope. We’ll be sharing them throughout December on our Instagram page, and today on Giving Tuesday. Here's what they said:
|
👭 “Organizing is the antidote to hopelessness.” – Haylee, leader with Twin Cities United Performers
🏠 “The material impact I've seen is that my landlord actually responds to my maintenance requests.” – Cody, leader with Duluth Tenants
🍎 “I never realized how much energy I could get from fighting for them [my kids] with my community. TakeAction and the MFPS container they helped families create gave me that gift.” – Shannon, leader with Minneapolis Families for Public Schools |
Thank you so much for being with us. Peace,
