Giving Tuesday: What Our Leaders Said

Dear John, 

In November, we asked our leaders how they feel about organizing. We asked what material changes they’ve seen in their lives, how their lives have grown emotionally or spiritually, and what they’re most proud of. Their responses were filled with hope. We’ll be sharing them throughout December on our Instagram page, and today on Giving Tuesday. Here's what they said:

Our leaders are changed, not just by the wins they’ve achieved, but by the community they’ve built. In turn, their organizing achieves material impacts on themselves and our communities: raising the standards for public education, getting maintenance requests answered, getting better treatment for performers. 

We are organizing because we know the “world as it should be” is possible. It gives us hope. On this Giving Tuesday, contribute to our work. Organizing creates real, meaningful change–you can invest in making that possible.
