John,
Yesterday, Sara mentioned how early investment and direct voter engagement powered our election wins this year. With a 100% win rate on election night, we’re really proud of the victories we helped produce—but the full story can’t be told in just numbers.
Grassroots supporters like you helped elect:
- Leslie Mehta, a civil rights attorney who has spent decades advocating for justice and fairness
- Stacey Carroll, a veteran, mother, and foster parent to 22 children
- Nicole Cole, a school board member who unseated a 30-year incumbent
- Dr. Mark Downey, a local pediatrician who beat both Republican and Independent challengers
We’re not just replacing Republicans with Democrats.
We’re electing an entirely new class of pro-choice champions who are already leaders in our communities and who are truly dedicated to fighting for our freedoms and futures.
This Giving Tuesday, will you chip in $25 to help us elect more champions like these in states across the country?
With gratitude,
Maris Nyhart

John,
Our victories in the 2025 elections make two things very clear:
- In competitive races, early investment allows us to build a depth of connection with voters, creating trust and ultimately turning voters out when and where it matters most.
- We are uniquely positioned to connect with voters on reproductive rights, exposing the records of anti-choice incumbents and allowing pro-choice candidates to shine.
We do voter education 365 days a year—not just in the weeks leading up to elections.
When we say that your dollar goes the furthest now, that’s because it’s grassroots support in the off months that allows us to lay the foundation necessary to win elections.
We helped elect a strong and diverse group of pro-choice all-stars to the Virginia legislature this year, and it means the world to hear directly from our candidates about how our support helped power their campaigns:
“Groups like Vote Pro-Choice understand that abortion access isn’t a red or blue issue, it’s just healthcare, and they are ready to continue working to ensure that the next generation has the freedom to make their own healthcare choices."
— Leslie Mehta, Virginia HD73
"Vote Pro-Choice helped our campaign tell the story of exactly how and why reproductive rights are at stake in HD-30. Their support allowed us to define our opponent's record on abortion, and helped us turn out our supporters to elect John."
— Nelisha Silva, Campaign Manager for John McAuliff, Virginia HD30
We’re proud to have played a role in these victories, and by supporting our work, you’ve played a role too.
As we close out the year, will you contribute $20.26 to help us carry this momentum forward to the midterm elections?
Thanks for all you do,
Sara Tabatabaie
