Women have fought long and hard for our rights. In the 19th century we fought for our right to education. In the 20th century we fought hard for our right to vote. And now, we fight for our right to exist and be valued in the way God made us.
That’s one of the biggest reasons that I’ve worked at Minnesota Family Council since I was an intern in high school. I envision a world where my daughters have every opportunity to be who God made them to be.
Over the past few days, you’ve heard from my colleagues Rebecca and Renee about how women’s spaces and athletic opportunities are under attack in our state and nation. Even our basic safety and dignity are threatened. Progressives want to erase all distinctions between men and women, effectively erasing women altogether. Will you stand with me in fighting for women’s and girls’ rights across Minnesota?
Our team at Minnesota Council has strategic goals towards this end in 2026. With your help, here are just a few ways we will defend women’s basic rights and opportunities across our state and nation:
Prevent a constitutional amendment from passing the state legislature which would protect self-identification of "gender" in the state constitution, threatening the safety of all Minnesota’s women & girls
Be successful in advising the U.S. Supreme Court to rule that eligibility for women’s and girls’ athletics should be determined based on sex rather than a person’s sense of gender
