Dear John,
Giving Tuesday is here, and there is no better cause to support than your God-given right to freely live out your faith.
That’s why some generous friends of First Liberty put together a $100,000 Challenge Grant. They not only want to maximize the impact of your gift, but also want to make sure that religious freedom is protected for generations to come.
Become a Force Multiplier for Freedom Maximize Your Gift with Our $100,000 Challenge Grant
I am deeply thankful for your support throughout 2025. Defending religious liberty has been particularly challenging this year.
We stood up to new attacks on teachers, students, and parents. And we won for:
- Valerie who just wanted to sing her favorite Christian song at her elementary school’s talent show
- Zion who was prevented from sharing his faith during his school’s “social time”
- Stephanie who was told that she couldn’t include a scripture when she decorated her senior parking space because it was government speech
All year long, you faithfully stood shoulder-to-shoulder with us through every fight and every win, including a huge victory for parental rights against the Encinitas School District.
And yet, while you and I celebrate these victories, the battle for our First Freedom is far from over.
Faith is still under attack.
Right now John, we need your help as we continue to fight for Marisol Arroyo-Castro, a teacher in Connecticut.
When she was told to remove her crucifix from her personal space where it had been hanging for more than a decade, she could not betray her faith. The cross stayed put.
And in response, the school’s leadership removed her from the classroom and suspended her without pay.
Now, a judge has made a troubling decision ruling that Marisol’s personal expression of faith was government speech. That runs contrary to the Supreme Court’s decision in the Coach Joe Kennedy case.
That’s why we’re fighting back. We’re appealing this ruling because it can’t be allowed to stand. But to win this fight, we need you fighting by our side.
We need you standing with us, fighting for your first liberty.
Will You Stand for Your First Liberty? Don’t Let Marisol be Punished for Her Faith!
It’s time to stand together with Marisol and her right to live and work according to her faith.
And there’s no better time than today – Giving Tuesday – to do just that.
Today and today only, your gift’s impact will be multiplied many times over with our $100,000 Challenge Grant.
Yes, I will make a gift today »
Grateful for you,
Kelly
