In October, the government published its new climate plan for tackling carbon emissions. But while this plan is stronger than the previous attempts, it’s still not enough. It fails to tackle the deep inequalities that leave lower-income households struggling to switch to cleaner, greener alternatives.

It’s a step forward – but not the breakthrough we urgently require. That’s why our work can’t stop now. In fact, it must accelerate.
