For over 27 years, The Trevor Project has worked to end suicide among LGBTQ+ young people. I know and see just how critical our work continues to be — for the next 27 years and more. We must continue to ensure that we can be here for all LGBTQ+ youth, wherever they are and whenever they need us.

Committed Trevor community members like you play a critical role in providing resources for Trevor’s highest priority — our ability to offer free, secure, 24/7 crisis intervention services and continue our suicide prevention programs for LGBTQ+ young people.

I grew up in a traditional, religious family in South Texas, which was hard for me as a young queer person. I was lonely, awkward, afraid, and grappling with my identity.

I desperately needed a support network like The Trevor Project, but it didn’t exist yet. I lead The Trevor Project because I am deeply, personally invested in our work to support LGBTQ+ young people in crisis.

I’ve seen the incredible dedication of the Trevor community, and I know you care deeply about the safety and well-being of LGBTQ+ young people.
