This Giving Tuesday, allies need to be loud. No images? Click here Hi John, Every young person should have the freedom to explore their identity and discover what they’re passionate about without fear of judgment or discrimination. That should be the baseline. But right now, LGBTQ+ young people are fighting for their right to exist. They’re fighting for access to inclusive books in their libraries, for the ability to freely express themselves, and for medical decisions that should be determined with doctors, not politicians. These things should not be up for debate. And when they are, they send a clear message to LGBTQ+ young people: you do not belong. We’re here to say, as loudly as we can: You belong, exactly as you are. As parents, we want to live in a world where every child can feel free and excited to dream big, find their people, and thrive. So we’re speaking out. This is a moment for allies to be visible, clear, and vocal so LGBTQ+ youth know they are not alone. It Gets Better exists to uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe. Through storytelling workshops, leadership opportunities, and youth-driven programs, It Gets Better helps young people find their voice, advocate for themselves and their peers, and build the life they deserve to live.
