[Don’t Miss the Third Summit!]([link removed])
As part of our new mental health equity initiative, The Upright, AFSP recently held its [second Upright Summit]([link removed]). This virtual event brings together local and national experts who connect communities and drive change in the suicide prevention field. The Summit also spotlights community-based programs that show measurable impact in suicide prevention, an increase in help-seeking behaviors, and stigma reduction.
We hope you join us for the final installment of this three-part series, taking place at 2 p.m. ET – 4:15 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 11, 2025. In this upcoming session, you’ll learn about creating equitable access to resources, and specifically about the Celebrating Life Suicide Prevention Program, created by and for the White Mountain Apache Tribe to address higher rates of suicide in American Indian and Alaska Native communities.
