Dear John,
As we approach the end of another impactful year at the Fraser Institute, I’m thrilled to share how our work is reaching more Canadians than ever on the web and social media – helping spread sound, evidence-based ideas on the issues that matter most.
I’m happy to report that we have bucked the trend of declining web traffic this year, welcoming over 3.6 million people to our website so far in 2025 – a 7% increase over last year.
And on social media, our posts, infographics, and commentaries have been viewed over 60 million times across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube – engaging a rapidly expanding audience who turn to us for clear, independent analysis on everything from taxes and health care to education and economic freedom.
Even more exciting, we’ve launched a bold new push into short-form video content – accessible videos that break down complex policy ideas in just minutes.
These videos are already resonating with younger Canadians and busy families, helping the next generation understand why markets, limited government, and personal responsibility lead to a more prosperous Canada.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of our outstanding production and marketing team – and, crucially, without the generous support of people like you.
We refuse government funding for our research to protect our independence, so we rely entirely on private donations to fuel our social media outreach.
As you follow us online and share our content with your networks this holiday season, please consider making a year-end donation. Your gift will help us reach even more Canadians in 2026.
(And don’t forget – your donation qualifies you for a generous tax credit come tax time!)
Thank you for standing with us.
Sincerely,
Stephen McCreary
Associate Director, Digital Marketing
